Guidance on COVID-19 (coronavirus) from Provincial Health Officer for health care workers

Registered Audiologists (RAUDs), Registered Hearing Instrument Practitioners (RHIPs), and Registered Speech-Language Pathologists (RSLPs) are advised to read two important letters from BC’s Provincial Health Officer, Dr. Bonnie Henry, providing guidance to health care workers on COVID-19 (coronavirus).

The letters address:

  • Self-isolation advice for health care workers, including those who have travelled outside of Canada.
  • How patients, physicians, health care workers, and the public can make inquiries if they have questions about COVID-19.
  • Cleaning practices in offices.

Please read both letters from Dr. Henry:

BC Centre For Disease Control information for health care professionals

Infection control, clinical care, and other topics related to COVID-19 are covered on the website. See the BCCDC COVID-19 Care page for health care professionals.
