Resources for Registered Speech-Language Pathologists returning to practice in BC schools

BC students, in kindergarten to grade 12, will return to in-class learning starting the week of September 8, 2020. Registered Speech-Language Pathologists (RSLPs) who work in schools – either as employees or contractors of school districts – should consult back to school plans released by the BC Government and school districts, along with other resources.

In addition to the school districts’ back to school plans linked above, RSLPs should consult the school districts where they work to determine if there is any other guidance available for in-school or virtual practice.

CSHBC-compiled guidance

CSHBC compiled Guidance for Providing In-person Community Care During COVID-19. The guidance, including links to resources from BC Centre for Disease Control and WorkSafeBC, is applicable to school-based practice.
