There are four impending registrant vacancies on the College Board of Directors, and as such an election is taking place this year, pursuant to Part 1 of the Bylaws. There is one vacancy for a Registered Audiologist (RAUD), one for a Registered Hearing Instrument Practitioner (RHIP), and two for Registered Speech-Language Pathologists (RSLPs). The term of office for the newly elected members will begin October 1, 2021 and end September 30, 2024.
The first stage in the election process is nominations. All Full, Non-practising, and Retired registrants may nominate up to two registrants for his or her profession for any impending vacant Board member position. The criteria for registration to be nominated for a position on the Board are set out on the Board Nomination Form.
To nominate a registrant for election, please complete and return the Board Nomination Form no later than May 21, 2021. Instructions regarding the completion and return of this document are provided on the form.
Once the May 21, 2021 nomination deadline has passed, the College will announce the nominated candidates, and will provide instructions for voting.
