Applicants to become RHIPs taking the ILE Written Exam may request domain-level exam results from a previous exam attempt

International Hearing Society (IHS), the organization that administers the International Licensing Examination for Hearing Healthcare Professionals (ILE), has announced that testing candidates can request “domain-level performance results” from an exam attempt. The ILE Written Exam is one of the two examinations required for registration as a Registered Hearing Instrument Practitioner (RHIP) with CSHBC.

“Domain-level” results include the percentage score the test-taker achieved in each of the five examination domains (topic areas). The information can assist unsuccessful testing candidates in preparing for another exam attempt.

Effective October 17, 2022, candidates may request this information directly from IHS by filling out an online request form. Only test-takers should request the information. Results will be sent within a week.

Note that IHS will not provide a candidate’s overall examination score, overall pass/fail results, or performance on individual questions.
