CSHBC accepting applications for becoming examiners for the CSHBC HID Practical Exam

To become Registered Hearing Instrument Practitioners (RHIPs), applicants must pass two examinations, including the CSHBC Hearing Instrument Dispensing (HID) Practical Examination. CSHBC currently has opportunities for becoming examiners for the CSHBC HID Practical Exam.

Examiners are responsible for conducting the examination and assessing the candidate’s performance on each question of the examination. Examiners are expected to have completed the required CSHBC examiner training and to be familiar with the contents of the Examiner Manual. This includes being familiar with any CSHBC professional and clinical standards, policies, and protocols that apply to the examination.

The next dates for the CSHBC HID Practical Exam will be in spring 2024.

See Examiner Role & Qualifications (PDF) for complete information on examiner role, expectations, qualifications, and eligibility.

If you are interested in becoming an examiner for the CSHBC HID Practical Exam, please complete the HID Examiner Application form (PDF) and submit the completed form to the College.
