On November 5, 2019, the College entered into a consent agreement (the “Agreement”) with Ms. Donna Giachino, who is non-registrant of the College. In the Agreement, Ms. Giachino agrees that she will not practice as a speech-language pathologist (SLP) or use any title reserved for registrants of the College while she is not a registrant.
Background
The College cancelled Ms. Giachino’s registration for lack of renewal. After Ms. Giachino’s registration was cancelled, the College learned of online materials which referred to Ms. Giachino as a “speech-language pathologist” and College registrant. The College wrote to Ms. Giachino and requested the removal of the online materials. Ms. Giachino promptly removed the online materials.
Resolution
Under the Agreement, Ms. Giachino agrees that she will not practice as a speech-language pathologist (SLP) or use any title reserved for registrants of the College until such time as she is granted registration.
