On November 3, 2022, Ms. Michelle Nightingale, RSLP, entered into an Undertaking and Consent Agreement consenting to an order for extraordinary action, pursuant to s. 35(1) of the Health Professions Act.
Background
Ms. Nightingale is a registrant and speech-language pathologist. In November 2021, the College received a report concerning Ms. Nightingale. The College’s Inquiry Committee (the “Committee”) is investigating the grounds for concern, relating to Ms. Nightingale’s clinical practice.
Resolution
The Committee has ordered interim limits or conditions on Ms. Nightingale’s practice, during its investigation, with Ms. Nightingale’s consent. The limits or conditions require that, during the investigation and pending a hearing if any, Ms. Nightingale’s practice be supervised by another RSLP respecting dysphagia-related activities.
The Committee believes that this interim action is sufficient to protect the public during its investigation.
